Abnormally excessive sweating not necessarily related to heat or exercise is a common problem. You may sweat so much that it soaks through your clothes or drips off your hands. Besides disrupting normal daily activities, this type of heavy sweating can cause social anxiety and embarrassment.

Botulinum toxin A is a great solution to treat excess sweating. It temporarily limits the activity of the sweat glands underneath the layers of your skin, reducing the amount of sweat produced.
Botulinum toxin A will then be injected directly into the sweating area. You may feel some discomfort during this injection, but it should only last for a couple of seconds. Downtime is minimal.
The armpits are the most common area injected, but we can also offer treatment for palm and feet excess sweating.
The results are typically seen within a week, lasting anywhere from four to six months.
