Gummy Smile

Some people feel that when they smile they show too much of their gums, or that their gums are simply too prominent when they smile – this is often referred to as a ‘gummy smile’.

Botulinum toxin A is a great solution to treating a gummy smile, by relaxing muscles in the face and improving the overall appearance. Throughout several treatments, we notice a significant difference in the noticeability of a gummy smile.

A small amount of Botulinum Toxin A is injected at both sides of the junction of nostril and nose to mouth fold to weaken the muscles. Downtime is minimal.

The results are typically seen within a week, lasting anywhere from four to six months.
